Colin Harvey left with horrific facial injuries after he was brutally attacked outside his flat at Chatham Court House, Ramsgate

Brave Colin Harvey crawled back to his first floor flat after an unprovoked beating by yobs which left pools of blood in the stairwell.
The 47-year-old suffered smashed front teeth, broken ribs, a suspected broken jaw and black eyes in the brutal attack.
His ordeal - which unfolded at Chatham Court House, Ramsgate - was so horrific, he can barely remember what happened.

But he does recall asking a group of around six teenagers to move so he could get to his flat after returning from a drink with pals. The next thing he knew, blows were raining down on him.
Colin said: "I tried to cover myself but I really can't remember much except that I managed to get into my flat."
The attack happened about midnight on Friday and Colin does not know who reported it to police, who arrived 30 minutes later.

Colin said: "I have no idea who the attackers were but I think they must have been aged around 18."
He went to accident and emergency at Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital but returned home following an examination because he was in so much pain.
Colin shares the flat with his cat Skitzie and has lived there for 14 years.
He refuses to be intimidated by the ordeal and says the attack will not force him out of his home of the past 14 years.

The flats are mainly securely gated but access to Colin's landing is unprotected and not covered by CCTV. He was burgled eight months ago.
He said: "A neighbour heard what was going on but didn't think anything of it."
Colin, who suffers from depression, said he was still in agony.
A police spokesman said: "Police are investigating a report of an assault in the area in the early hours of Saturday morning. The victim received medical attention."
